It’s snowing in Waterbury Center! Here in the CLiF office, we’re thinking about warm beverages.

More importantly, we’re working with the communities we serve to ensure children participating in CLiF programs have new books in time for the holidays.

This is what $25 brings a low-income, at-risk, or rural New Hampshire or Vermont child:

  • A professional, inspiring literacy presentation such as an author/illustrator visit, writing workshop, or storytelling
  • Two brand-new, high quality books of his or her choice to keep

This holiday season, CLiF hopes to inspire our friends with our 50/25 drive. We’re counting on 50 new or increased gifts of $25 or more.

And if you happen to like coffee, tea, or hot chocolate — or know someone who does — here’s the extra incentive. Our friends at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters have provided a brand new Keurig coffeemaker to raffle off.

Here’s how it works:

We’re asking new donors to give $25 or more — and annual donors to increase their last gift by $25 or more.

Any donor making a new $25 gift or increasing last year’s gift by $25 will be entered to win the Keurig. We’ll draw the winner during the first week of 2014.

Gifts of any amount help CLiF serve Vermont and New Hampshire children. Thank you!
