During the summer break, children get to sleep in, watch movies, play outside with friends, and participate in all sorts of other activities. But well before that first school bell rings, parents need to take proactive measures to ensure that their elementary-aged children can hit the ground running and quickly adapt to the stress and routines of another school year.

CLiF’s Year of the Book Has Begun!

Over the past few weeks, CLiF Executive Director Duncan McDougall has packed the CLiFmobile with books and driven to Brownington, Newbury, and Johnson, Vermont, as well as Pittsfield and Berlin, New Hampshire. CLiF has partnered with each town’s elementary school on our newest program, CLiF’s Year of the Book. (We’re also working with Pittsburg, NH. Their kick-off event will be on October 11.)
