Now, for just $10 per book, you can share your favorite Dr. Seuss book with a child served through CLiF’s At-Risk Children program.

This year, CLiF will serve tens of thousands of kids through partnerships with over 120 organizations across New Hampshire and Vermont. Most of these children have few, if any, books of their own at home, and are at risk of growing up with low literacy skills. Research has show that, regardless of nationality, parents’ education level or economic status, a child’s access to books in the home is one of the greatest indicators of their academic success. That is why donating a book means so much! This National Reading month, will you join us in getting books into the hands of children who need them most?

It’s easy to help Spread the Seuss. Here’s how:

  • Pick your favorite Dr. Seuss book to give to a child served by CLiF. Click here to see our list of favorites!
  • Donate $10 for each book you’d like to give.
  • In the comments, tell us the title (or titles) of the book you’d like to donate.
  • Help spread the word:
    • ‘Like’ (or love) us on Facebook
    • Invite your friends to ‘Like’ us as well and join the campaign!
    • Join the conversation: Tell us about the book you donated, or share your favorite Dr. Seuss quote
    • Follow us on Twitter @cliforg and #spreadtheseuss!

Donate a book!

Your donation will go directly to buy the book(s) you choose (as long as they are available). The book will be given directly to a child in need through our At-Risk Children program, in hopes that it will make as big a difference to him or to her as it made to you!
