Jen DeCoste

Jennifer is the assistant director of Keene Community Education, an adult education center located in Keene, New Hampshire. She has worked in adult education for nine years as a volunteer, teacher, facilitator, counselor, mentor, and administrator. In her current position she oversees Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) programs, and coordinators volunteer supported tutorials. Prior to her career in adult education, Jennifer worked for the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art and Florentine Films.

Jennifer earned her M.Ed. with a specialization in literacy and language from Lesley University, and is working toward her Ed.D. with a specialization in learning, leadership, and community at Plymouth State University. Jennifer lives in Keene, NH. On a daily basis, she shares her passion for reading and children’s literature with her sons and hopes they will one day also share these passions with others.
