CLiF Write to Read Contest

The Children’s Literacy Foundation is having a book giveaway contest! We have copious quantities of many titles in our onsite library and we would like to donate classroom sets to your classroom library!

The competition is simple, the participating teacher should write a quick note telling us which book you would like (please provide us with top three choices if applicable), what grade/s you teach, and how many students are in your class. Then have your students answer the following prompt: Why do you think that your classroom should receive a brand new class set of books?

CLiF is offering a new grant opportunity to help build bridges and strengthen community connections through reading and writing. To that end, CLiF has selected three programs to fund in an effort to unify communities:

There is an opportunity to design your own program based on CLiF’s program ideas, found here. We want to support the need in your community through connecting kids and adults with fun literacy-building activities.
