Jana Brown

Jana joined CLiF in 2014. As Program Manager, she works with Duncan, Meredith, and our board of advisors to identify and recruit potential partners and award and implement At-Risk and Summer Readers program grants.

Jana works with our program partners across New Hampshire and Vermont to select a CLiF presenter for each event and helps partners select new books from our extensive list of high quality books available for donation.

Jana grew up in the small town of Fair Haven, Vermont and earned degrees in Literature and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University. She went to law school at The Ohio State University College of Law and worked as a program coordinator at the Harvard Kennedy School in the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. After returning to Vermont in 2009, she practiced law for five years as a government attorney with the Attorney General’s office.

Jana studied and traveled in Spain and England and enjoys travel, skiing, spending time on Lake Bomoseen, and reading. She lives in Burlington with her husband and young son.
