Tuesday, March 11 was a big day for Gilman Head Start in Gilman!

In addition to a visit from local children’s author, David Martin, Head Start was awarded $2,000 worth of new hardcover books as part of Lunenburg-Gilman’s three year community literacy grant from CLiF.

David Martin read his book, We’ve All Got Bellybuttons and then joyfully led the kids in a bellybutton song. Each child was able to choose two free books as part of CLiF’s generous book give-away.
