Lynda grew up in small-town western Pennsylvania where her best friends were books, a nearby pond, and the woods. As a young bride she moved to Brooklyn with her artist-husband, Ray, who illustrated her first children’s book, Who Lives Inside?

Lynda worked in publishing and went on to write 13 award-winning books, including KokoCat Inside and Out. She lives in a stone cottage hard on the Canadian border, where she’s still writing by the pond, following streams in the woods, and exploring field and forest on skis and bicycles with her rescue dog, Biscuit.
