Michael J. Daley enjoys a life-long love of science, machines, and science fiction. These passions inform his fiction and non-fiction writing. Daley’s books include Space Station Rat, which is currently on state Children’s Choice lists in South Dakota and Oklahoma, and Shanghaied to the Moon, which was named a Best Book for the Teen Age by the New York Public Library. He has also written children’s picture books including Pinch and Dash Make Soup and Pinch and Dash and the Terrible Couch. Daley lives with his wife (and fellow CLiF presenter) Jessie Haas in a very small house they built themselves in Westminster, VT.
