Natalie Kinsey-Warnock grew up on a farm in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom where her Scottish ancestors settled 200 years ago. The inspiration for her books comes from her childhood on that farm and her true family stories. She is the author of 20 books, including the picture books The Bear That Heard Crying, Nora’s Ark, and From Dawn till Dusk and the young adult novels The Canada Geese Quilt, As Long As There Are Mountains, and Gifts from the Sea.
