Since April, we’ve been offering a weekly virtual storytelling series for kids, featuring CLiF’s amazing storytellers, authors, and illustrators. Now, we’ll be offering a virtual book club for grown-ups, too! Many of the 68 Vermont and New Hampshire authors/storytellers we work with also write for adults. This will be an opportunity to dig into the work of a CLiF presenter, discuss the book with new friends, ask questions, and hear from the author herself.
The first CLiF Book Club for Grown-ups is Thursday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m. EST via Zoom. We’ll be discussing The Mountains Wild, an exciting mystery/thriller by Vermont author Sarah Stewart Taylor. Sign up to receive the link here (we’ll send it the week of the discussion).
Our friends at Norwich Bookstore in Norwich, VT are donating to CLiF a portion of the proceeds of all copies purchased for the CLiF book discussion. Buy the book here (you can even get a signed copy!).
Sarah writes books for teens and adults, including the St. George mystery series.
Come with your questions for Sarah! We’ll see you at Book Club!
Is there an adult book for November? Or can we join the discussion even if we haven’t read the book. I would love to be on an email list to receive notifications about the CLIF adult book group schedule and books being read if possible.
Hi, Jane! Thanks for your message. Next session (11/19 at 7 p.m.), we’ll be discussing poetry and hearing a performance from Rajnii Eddins. We encourage participants to familiarize themselves with his work beforehand, but we hope everyone will join, regardless of whether they’re read Rajnii’s work or not! https://www.rajniieddins.com/
