Are you an enthusiastic, organized professional with program planning experience and a love of literacy?
CLiF seeks a part-time Programs Manager to coordinate some of CLiF’s literacy programs across Vermont and New Hampshire. CLiF has a small, committed staff and a 16-year history of substantial growth and results. This position manages CLiF’s At-Risk, Summer Readers, and Rural Libraries programs.

 

Duties include working with CLiF grantees to develop and schedule specialized program plans; improving existing programs; working with Program Director; book ordering; collaborating with CLiF presenters including authors, illustrators, and poets; conducting outreach and creating outreach materials; writing articles, blog posts, and giving public presentations. Note this position does not involve teaching or curriculum development.

 

CLiF offers a friendly and collaborative working environment, some flexibility in scheduling, and an emphasis on work-life balance.

 

Requirements: Minimum 4 years experience developing and coordinating programs. Passion for literacy. Excellent project management, organizational, and people skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage many projects simultaneously and work in small teams. Very strong computer proficiency required; Apple preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Social media experience a plus.
