This is a very exciting time for the Children’s Literacy Foundation. We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Laura Rice as CLiF’s new executive director on April 1! Laura has two decades of experience leading mission-driven organizations, and longstanding connections with CLiF. She will be replacing founding executive director Duncan McDougall, who has led the award-winning organization for the past 25 years. Though he is stepping away from the helm, Duncan will continue to serve as a CLiF presenter.

We are also thrilled to be moving into our new, purpose-built headquarters in Waterbury Center, VT this month. Our new space will enable CLiF to serve and inspire hundreds of thousands more under-resourced young readers and writers across New Hampshire and Vermont in decades to come.

In the two-minute video above, we’ll introduce you to Laura, and take you on a quick tour of the new CLiF HQ. Thanks for watching!
