Could it be? Is that… sun? Are those… green sprouts coming out of the ground?

Here are a few notable stories we saw over the past several sunny, springy days:

  • Charlotte Albright of Vermont Public Radio visited Lowell, VT to talk with CLiF Year of the Book students and Natalie Kinsey-Warnock about their Story Keepers family history research and writing projects. Read the story transcript here.
  • Last week, All Things Considered discussed picture books that parents can bear to reread over a year’s worth of bedtimes. The list includes the hilarious Mr. Wuffles by David Wiesner. Hiata of Bridgeside Books was wise to introduce me to Mr. Wuffles, because I’ve since bought copies from her for all my friends with toddlers!
  • Lots of fun things happening in Montpelier, VT (aka Poem City) for National Poetry Month! Check out the calendar here.
  • And finally, an article in the Burlington Free Press celebrating Grace Greeneour dear friend and advisor, who’s retiring this year from her position as Vermont’s head children’s librarian.

Happy Friday. And happy spring!
